Principled Innovation emphasizes inclusion because accessing the benefits of our diversity requires reaching out across our differences (many of which we cannot easily see) to access new ways of seeing, thinking, and understanding. This often involves hearing others’ perspectives (Practice C2) with which we might disagree. In this short video, Harvard Business School professor Linda Hill discusses the practice of intentionally leveraging diversity and conflict for creativity and innovation, even when it is more challenging to do so.
