In order to design creative solutions, we often need a way to push ourselves to see the world differently—to try on new perspectives and challenge our pre-existing notions of what is possible. IDEO.org is a nonprofit design studio that uses human-centered design to address a variety of complex challenges around the world. In this blog post, an IDEO.org designer describes his team’s approach to moving past the biases that non-disabled people typically have about those who are disabled and generating creative solutions.
