Creative ideas often enter a world that isn’t ready to receive them, and finding a way to adapt either the ideas or the world—or both—for the innovation to be successful can be challenging. This requires what ASU professor Liz Lerman in this short video describes as “creative resilience”—having confidence in one’s ideas and knowledge combined with a commitment to the long road of innovation.
