What is human-centered design?

Human-centered design is one well-known approach to Practice P2, Design Creative Solutions. It is a process that centers empathy, creative ideation, prototyping of ideas, and iterative testing, and is the foundation of design thinking, an approach to innovation championed by the design firm IDEO. This brief video (2 minutes) from IDEO.org gives an overview of human-centered design.
