This is your brain on curiosity

Finding answers to questions that pique our curiosity—whether those questions are related to the local concerns of a single classroom or school- or community-wide challenges—can be extremely satisfying. In this TED Talk, neuroscientist Matthias Gruber of Cardiff University describes how curiosity works on a cognitive level to improve learning by activating the brain’s reward system and increasing our ability to remember information.
