The benefits of diversity in innovation

The Inclusivity asset in Principled Innovation seeks to ensure that a variety of ways of seeing and thinking about the world are included in the problem-solving work of innovation. Bridging across a diverse community to include ideas and experiences that diverge the most from the dominant perspectives is, according to this 1-minute video by Fiona Murray, Associate Dean for Innovation and Inclusion at MIT’s Sloan School of Management, a key ingredient in sparking innovation.
