Systems thinking: understanding the whole rather than just separate pieces

When working to tackle complex problems by bringing together a variety of institutions and partners, systems thinking is a central part of the approach. This video (3 minutes) created by global nonprofit Synergos provides a useful overview of systems thinking, which they define as “a set of methods and tools that allow us to focus on the whole system in which a problem exists.”
