Integrating ethics: “ethical judgment”

As educators, developing a strong understanding of Practice M2—supported by character assets such as empathy, critical thinking, reflection, and inclusivity—is the first step to helping our students develop this critical self-awareness needed to make good and just decisions. This short animation (6 minutes) by the University of Texas at El Paso describes how a sobering experiment by Stanley Milgram illustrates our need to allow our decision-making to be guided by critical reflection and empathy.
