Modeling resilience for kids

The K12 classroom provides opportunities for Principled Innovators to both demonstrate and foster resilience. In this video from Black Moms Connection, host Tanya Hayles interviews elementary teacher Julian Saavedra about the way he works with his students to understand their challenges while improving their resilience. Use this video to prompt a discussion about what resilience means and how to support it among preservice teachers and their students.
