Decision-making requires us to employ practical wisdom that draws across a broad range of character assets. Character assets such as fairness, empathy, and critical thinking draw our attention to complementary theories of ethical decision-making. In this article, by Santa Clara University’s Markkula Center for Applied Ethics, overviews the major theories of ethical decision-making and argues for the need to integrate these in our choices.
