In an ever-evolving, complex and divided world, it is crucial that future generations are prepared with the capacity and dispositions to make moral and ethical decisions as they address mounting systemic challenges facing global society. As ASU’s newest design aspiration, we envision Principled Innovation as a needed framework to navigate and mitigate the uncertainty of the present and future. By bringing together various sectors including business, healthcare, technology, arts, education and more, this convening will be an open and collaborative space to share Principled Innovation connections, stories, successes and challenges.
This convening is made possible by a generous gift from the Kern Family Foundation.
Attire
There is not a set dress code, but please wear clothes that make you feel comfortable.
Please note that some sessions throughout the convening will include active movement and additionally some will be facilitated outside.
Meals
There will be a light breakfast provided until 9 a.m. Lunch will be provided from 12 to 1 p.m. each day.
Coffee, hot tea and water will be provided throughout the day.
Parking
There is parking available at the stadium. A map will be provided via email prior to the event showing where to park and enter the stadium. It will clearly outline how to get to the conference space inside.
Transportation options
There are several options available for those not wanting to drive. There is a bus and light rail stop close as well.

If you would like to see other hotel options in the area, please visit Travel information for ASU campus visitors. If you select Tempe campus, these hotels are close to the stadium and offer ASU discounted rates. There is not a set conference hotel.
